Product Description.

The STARFLO SF1240-30 is a DC submersible well pump designed to pump water from 0 to 225 feet.Requires 4" or larger well 

casing. Runs off of 12 to 30 volts, intended primarily for panel-direct operation with a controller in the 20-30 volts range. 

4.1 amps max.For potable water only.The SF1240-30 delivers a steady 112 GPH (422 LPH) at its maximum lift of 230 feet (70M) when supplied with 24 VDC.Its unique water-tight power connector stops water wicking and prevents potential condensation problems.

For livestock watering, irrigation, pond aeration, remote homes and cabins.

It  is a positive displacement diaphragm type pump with very high efficiency that can be operated on 12 or 24 VDC battery bank, or with the use of one of the pump controllers  directly with a PV array. The pump can lift 1.3 gallons per minute to 230 feet of total dynamic head and can pump nearly 2 gallons per minute from shallow wells. 

The solid-state controllers will protect the submersible solar pump from over-voltage and over-current conditions and will provide current boosting in low sunlight conditions, providing both protection and maximum water delivery.  With an optional float switch installed, the controller will automatically stop pumping when the storage reservoir is full.

Note: Do NOT use any STARFLO solar pump for petrol gasoline, petroleum products, solvents, thinners or any other flammable liquid with a flash point below 82 C (180 F). This pump requires a round cable. Flat submersible cable will not work with the this pump. Warranty: 1 Year

Maintenance Recommendations and Warranty

The solar pump  carries a 1-year warranty and the pump should be pulled out of the well at least every 2 years to replace the brushes, diaphragm, and valves. Occasionally, the cable plug, which is the connection between the cable and the pump, also needs to be replaced due to corrosion or abrasion.
